Piano and Recorder

Easy duets for recorder and piano, sheet music pieces for sale for students learning to     play piano or recorder.

The recorder is a flute-like woodwind musical     instrument. In German it is called the Blockflöte, in French the flûte à bec,     and in Italian the flauto dolce. It is held vertically from the lips (rather     than horizontally like the ‘transverse’ flute). (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Recorder)

Recorder and Piano Duets

recorder and piano duets

Solo descant recorder with piano original sheet music duets. All the     easy recorder and piano duets     for sale are designed to be played by a music student on piano as well as the recorder and requires a similar     level of early music skill for both, so that it is ideally suited for any students     to play without the need for a tutor on piano to be present. However, it should be noted that, as the recorder is often     associated with younger children at a very basic stage of musicianship,     these duets between descant recorder and piano are probably not as elementary as     might be suggested by the term ‘easy’. They all     require a working knowledge of the instrument and notation, and if referred     to as ‘easy’ or ‘easy/moderate’ it is relative to the scale of ‘easy –     moderate – difficult’ (where ‘difficult’ is a professional’s standard of     skill). These pieces do not contain simplifications or instructions of how     to play the notes.

All duets are written for descant recorder but a few are also suitable for treble recorder.
